Saturday continued 

On our way to the bus station we came across a very lively parade. Loads of loud music and dancing. Caused a major traffic jam.

Our bus for the overnight journey from La Paz to Uyuni. It was a sleeper bus that took about 10 hours overnight and cost about £12.50 each. 

Sleeping Beauty. 

Uyuni arrival. Two slightly crazy people. Sunday 5:30 in the morning and looking for breakfast. 

On the face of it Uyuni appears to be a one horse town but we soon found it was pretty good. 

It had rained 

The main plaza was very pretty. After breakfast we went to our hostel planning to just drop our bags but found we were able to have an early check in and a second breakfast!
Went and booked our tour of the salt flats for tomorrow. The rest of today we will be chilling and eating.
