Well so far today, we’ve taken the car back to the airport and it seems to have passed its inspection… phew! We had the great adventure of finding a bus to bring us back into town which was a 40 minute journey and only cost £1.50 each. We are now in the barbers where we’re hoping things are not lost in translation because Paul beard has got beyond it now. The man is taking things very seriously. I don’t know if he’s quite got the measure …I did try and explain what number. maybe I should’ve learned because I tried to explain the same in Vietnam. and paul ended up with no beard and a Burt Reynolds moustache. It was hilarious.
The rest of the day has been about doing chores, getting our washing sorted, returning all the bits and pieces that the guy who arranged our car hire needed back.
Had a lovely evening stroll with a view to having dinner at a local Thai restaurant only to be told that it was booked out because it’s Valentine’s Day. The streets are lined with stalls of gifts … flowers, balloons and teddies! It really is a beautiful sunset. We’ll have our valentine meal tomorrow!
| Mid haircut and beard trim. Feels much better |

Hope Paul is happy with result of barbers ! Next part of adventure?
