Sunday was mostly about a long drive from Pucón to Concepcion - mountains to coast and northwards. Hence no blog entry. Today, Monday, we explored some of the Pacific Coast and found a lovely fishing village. As well as fish the other big haul was seaweed which is harvested for export to Japan and the US.

On Sunday Concepcion was completely closed - nothing open and looked rather drab. Monday was a complete contrast with city coming alive and bustling with people. We had a pretty decent meal at a restaurant on the a tree lined street. Tomorrow, Tuesday, is another long drive, this time to Santiago.

An egret I think. Loads of different birds on the coast. Pelicans, vultures, hawks, gulls etc

Some sweet houses
